June 13, 2010 - Prior to Corey's passing, he was most recently set to work on a great film, A Detour in Life. I wanted to pass along a few words from Tina Brown, who was producing the last film Corey was working on:
Corey was getting ready to make his Directorial Debut plus be the lead in our film 'A Detour in Life'. We were set to start filming this late spring/summer time. We are still going on with the film in honor to Corey Haim and his family. The movie has been dedicated to him. Judy Haim is on as Executive Producer as well. The script was entered into a Film Festival that is put on by GAFFERS (Global Art Film Festival Experience and Repertory of Sacramento) every year throughout different cities even other parts of the world.
This year an award was given out to Corey Haim and myself for having 'Most Inspirational Filmmaking Project'. Corey's award is being sent to his mother in Canada. Judy plans on being on the set with us as we film. Plus, Corey will be still in the film in a certain way. I can't give out the details, as it would spoil the movie! Another thing is this script was written by me just for Corey. I really wanted to see him portray a family man with a wife and a daughter. Corey was very excited about this film!

I would also like to pass along Judy's gratitude, once again, for the outpouring of kindness and support from Corey's friends, co-workers and fans after Corey's untimely passing -- Judy has been able to complete the purchase of Corey's headstone at his burial site.
April 10, 2010 - Judy wishes to extend a very big THANK YOU to all of Corey's fans and friends for their support and kindness during this very difficult time. It makes her heart swell to see that so many people cared about and loved her only son, Corey.
Judy also thanks everyone for their interest in a public memorial for Corey, however, it will not be possible at this time. She has enjoyed very much reading the kind words that everyone has left on Corey's MySpace page & thanks everyone for taking the time to write how they feel about her son and how much he will be missed for both his shining personality and the films he has completed for the world to enjoy!
We will be sure to keep you updated on the progress of Corey's latest two films, AMERICAN SUNSET and DECISIONS - stay tuned!
March 18, 2010 - In honor of Corey, the Virtual Channel Network is hosting Corey's most recent press conference regarding his film AMERICAN SUNSET at their website.
A public memorial in Los Angeles is currently being planned for Corey -- details will be posted here as soon as they are available.
March 13, 2010 - It appears that we may have now raised enough money to cover all expenses of Corey's funeral! Many thanks to all his caring fans & friends who sent in donations... The Haim family is very relieved to know that they will be able to lay Corey to rest at home in Canada.
A heartfelt thanks goes out to all who have already sent a donation and stopped by Corey's MySpace page to leave your condolences.
March 11, 2010 - Corey's funeral will be taking place next week in his hometown of Toronto, Canada. Due to the unexpected expenses of transporting his body to Canada for final resting, a fund has been set up to help his family.

April 25, 2009 - COREY has just joined the cast of the upcoming film AMERICAN SUNSET -- He takes off to begin filming on location in Canada next week! The film is being produced by Canada's Global Universal Pictures, Inc. and directed by Michael Masucci.
April 15, 2009 - COREY has received a lot of questions about LOST BOYS 3, so he wants to announce that as of now, he does not have any plans to participate in the film & no discussions have taken place for his involvement.
